The 2025 World Junior Judo Championships concluded — all results

On October 7 in Lima (Peru), the 2025 World Junior Judo Championships (under 20) came to a close. On the final day of the tournament, medals were contested in five weight categories — three men’s (under 90 kg, 100 kg, and +100 kg) and two women’s (under 78 kg and +78 kg).

On that day, gold medals were won by athletes from Russia, Serbia, Brazil, the Netherlands, and France. However, in the overall standings, team Japan secured a convincing victory, continuing its traditional dominance in junior judo.

Japanese judokas captured 5 gold, 4 silver, and 4 bronze medals, finishing first in the team classification.
