2025 European Karate Championships concluded: full tournament results
On May 11, the 2025 European Karate Championships under the auspices of the EKF concluded in Yerevan. On the final day, four sets of medals were awarded in team kata and kumite events for both men and women.
Team Spain won two gold medals in the team events. One gold each went to teams from Italy and Germany.
In the overall medal standings, Germany came out on top with three gold and four bronze medals. Italy took second place with a greater number of total medals but fewer champions: two golds, two silvers, and four bronzes. Thanks to two wins in team competitions, Spain climbed to third place.
Host nation Armenia earned two bronze medals. The medalists were Yura Zalyan (up to 60 kg) and Gor Nersisyan (up to 84 kg).
