Gevorgyan brothers begin new season in Germany

The 21-year-old twin brothers Mike and Mark Georgiyan have begun the new season in Germany. Both footballers are playing in the Regionalliga Bayern, the fourth tier of German football.

Midfielder Mike Gevorgyan has made a strong start with Unterhaching. He has already featured in four matches, recording one goal and two assists.

Mike scored in the Bavarian Cup and also provided one assist in each of the first two rounds of the Regionalliga. Unterhaching won both matches.

Defender Mark Gevorgyan, who joined 1860 Munich ahead of the new season, has so far received less playing time. He spent 15 minutes on the pitch in the opening round and remained on the bench for the second match.

The new season has therefore started differently for the Gevorgyan brothers: Mike has already established himself as a noticeable attacking presence for his team, while Mark continues to fight for a place in the 1860 Munich lineup.

Both players previously represented Germany at U17 level and later made an appearance for the Armenia U21 national team.
