In the 5th round of the Russian Premier League 2025/26, Krasnodar claimed a spectacular 5–1 victory over Sochi. The main hero of the match was the Bulls’ captain and Armenian national team leader Eduard Spertsyan, who scored twice and provided an assist.
The game was balanced until Sochi defender Marcelo Alves was sent off in the 47th minute. After that, Krasnodar fully took control and scored all five goals in the second half.
