Armenian wrestler Vahram Khachatryan won a bronze medal at the 2025 World Veterans Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship in the 70 kg (Veteran A) weight category.
In the match for third place, the 37-year-old athlete achieved a confident 9:0 victory over Georgian wrestler Lasha Kadeishvili.
The champion in this weight category was Georgia’s Goga Gogiberashvili, who defeated Russia’s Ruslan Assakalov in the final.
The World Veterans Wrestling Championship took place in Hungary from October 7 to 12, 2025. Earlier, two other Armenian wrestlers also claimed bronze medals in freestyle wrestling.
