Urartu announce signing of Japanese winger Katsuyuki Ishibashi

Urartu have officially announced the signing of Japanese winger Katsuyuki Ishibashi. The 24-year-old footballer has become the Yerevan club’s first official new signing of the summer transfer window.

Ishibashi’s last club was Albirex Niigata from the Singapore Premier League. Last season, the Japanese player made 27 appearances for the team, scoring 3 goals and providing 7 assists.

Earlier in his career, Ishibashi also played in the third divisions of Japan and South Korea. The player’s market value is estimated at €175,000. The winger is 172 cm tall.

For Urartu, this is the first official reinforcement of the summer. The team is beginning to shape its squad ahead of the new Armenian Premier League season.
