Styopa Mkrtchyan will joins Nürnberg

Armenia national team defender Styopa Mkrtchyan will continue his career in Germany. According to Croatian outlet Glas Slavonije, the 22-year-old footballer is already in Germany undergoing a medical ahead of signing a contract with the club Nürnberg.

According to the source, the transfer fee will be €750,000. In addition, Osijek will receive 10% of the fee from his next sale.

Mkrtchyan has played for Croatian side Osijek since 2023, making 59 appearances and scoring one goal. This was his third season in the Croatian league. He has earned 23 caps for the Armenia national team.

Nürnberg currently sits in 9th place in the 2. Bundesliga.
