Armenia captain Eduard Spertsyan equalised in the 65th minute of the Nations League second-round match against Montenegro, making it 2–2.
After receiving a pass from Georgiy Harutyunyan near the halfway line, Spertsyan drove forward, beat several defenders and scored with a long-range shot. It was the captain’s 13th goal for Armenia.
Armenia trailed 2–1 at half-time. Artur Serobyan had cancelled out Erik Piloyan’s own goal, but Nikola Krstović restored Montenegro’s lead before the break.
