8-year-old winger of Armenian club BKMA, Narek Hovhannisyan, may continue his career in Slovakia. According to insider Suren Meliksetyan, the club Dunajská Streda has made an official offer for the player’s transfer, and negotiations are currently underway.
This season, Hovhannisyan played 26 matches, scored 5 goals, and provided 6 assists, becoming one of BKMA's key players in the Armenian Premier League. His confident performances helped the team enjoy one of the most successful seasons in its history. At the moment, the club is in 6th place in the league standings.
In addition to his club performances, Narek has also made a mark internationally—he scored two goals for Armenia’s U19 national team, after which he received a call-up to the U21 squad.
It’s worth noting that Armenian national team player Tigran Barseghyan currently plays in the Slovak league and has already become a four-time league champion. Abov Avetisyan also won the First League with his club and will play in Slovakia’s top division next season.
