Scouts from Lens and Como Could Attend Armenia vs Kazakhstan Match

Representatives of European clubs may attend the friendly match between Armenia and Kazakhstan. According to RB Sport, scouts from French club Lens and Italian side Como are expected to arrive in Yerevan for the game. This information has also been confirmed by other sources.

The Armenia vs Kazakhstan match will take place on June 6 at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium. The game will kick off at 18:00 Yerevan time.

In the case of Lens, the club’s interest in the Armenian market looks quite logical. Representatives of the French club have long been actively working in Armenia and are connected with the Sardarapat project in Armavir. In addition, there are Armenians in Lens’ management, while the club itself has been building close football ties with Armenia in recent years.

It is expected that Lens representatives may pay special attention to Nair Tiknizyan, although it cannot be ruled out that other Armenia national team players could also come into the French club’s focus. Earlier, there had already been rumors about Lens’ interest in Eduard Spertsyan and other Armenian footballers, but no concrete transfer has materialized so far.

Lens’ sporting status adds extra intrigue to the situation: the club will play in the Champions League next season, meaning strengthening the squad ahead of the European campaign will be especially important for the French side.

As for Como, representatives of the Italian club are reportedly flying to Yerevan primarily to watch Eduard Spertsyan. Earlier reports claimed that Como head coach Cesc Fabregas is personally interested in signing the Armenia national team captain and one of Krasnodar’s key players.

For Spertsyan, the summer transfer window could become one of the most important periods of his career. The midfielder has long attracted attention from European clubs, and the match for the Armenia national team will give him another opportunity to impress representatives of foreign teams.
