Armenia U19 national team lost to Uzbekistan in the second friendly match

The Armenia U19 national team played their second friendly against Uzbekistan. The match, held on September 8 in Abovyan, ended with a narrow 0-1 victory for the visitors.

In the first match, the Uzbek team had also won, 2-1.

Thus, under Misha Djorkaeff’s leadership, the Armenian side suffered their fifth consecutive defeat, scoring only once in these games.

Despite the results, the matches against Uzbekistan became an important stage of preparation for the upcoming official games in autumn. From October 8 to 14, Armenia U19 will compete in the UEFA European Championship qualification round against Germany, Norway, and Kosovo.
