On October 13 in Dublin, at Aviva Stadium, the Armenia national football team held its final training session ahead of the match against Ireland in the 4th round of Group F of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
In footage published by the Football Federation of Armenia, head coach Yeghishe Melikyan is seen speaking individually with several players, including defender Georgi Harutyunyan. The team conducted a warm-up and a two-sided practice game.
The players appeared in good spirits and were enthusiastically preparing for the upcoming encounter.
It is noted that there are no injuries or suspensions in the Armenian squad — all players are ready to participate in the match.
Under the threat of suspension are Erik Piloyan, Georgi Harutyunyan, and Kamo Hovhannisyan — if any of them receive a yellow card, they will miss the next match against Hungary, scheduled for November.
Press conference quotes:
Yeghishe Melikyan: “The match against Ireland will be a real football battle.”
Erik Piloyan: “We’ll do everything to win against Ireland.”
