Armenia’s National Team Heads to the U23 World Wrestling Championships in Novi Sad

From October 20 to 27, 2025, the U23 World Wrestling Championships will take place in Novi Sad, Serbia. The tournament will feature the strongest young wrestlers from around the globe, and Armenia’s national team will compete with a full lineup in both Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling.
Special attention is drawn to the debut of Grigor Cholakyan, who previously represented the United States and will now compete for Armenia for the first time. Fans are also looking forward to another strong performance from Gaspar Terteryan, the reigning U20 world champion, who will aim to add another gold medal to his collection — this time at the U23 level.
