Sasa Zdjelar joins Noah and becomes the most valuable player in the Armenian league

Armenian football club Noah has officially announced the signing of Serbian midfielder Sasa Zdjelar.

The 31-year-old has extensive experience playing at a high level. During his career, Zdjelar has represented Spanish side Mallorca, Belgrade-based Partizan, Moscow’s CSKA, and Saint Petersburg club Zenit.

With Partizan, the Serbian midfielder won the Serbian Cup twice, while with CSKA Moscow he lifted the Russian Cup on two occasions.

Zdjelar has also enjoyed success at international level. In 2015, he became a world champion with Serbia’s U20 national team. The midfielder has also made nine appearances for Serbia’s senior national team.

Zdjelar’s primary position is defensive midfielder. Standing 183 cm tall, the Serbian is known for his ball-winning ability, composure in possession, and his ability to initiate attacks with short and medium-range passes.

With an estimated market value of €2 million, Zdjelar becomes the most valuable player in the Armenian championship. He is followed by another Serbian player at Noah, striker Marko Lazetic, whose market value is estimated at €1 million.

The signing of the experienced Serbian midfielder is another significant addition for Noah as the club continues to strengthen its squad for domestic and international competitions.
