Today, on May 9, the UAE Warriors 71 MMA event took place in Abu Dhabi. In the main event of the evening, Armenian fighter Martun Mezhlumyan competed for the vacant UAE Warriors lightweight title.
Unfortunately, Mezhlumyan was unable to take advantage of this opportunity and lost by submission. Another Armenian fighter, Sergo Aleksanyan, also suffered a defeat, losing by split decision to an athlete from Cameroon.
