Today, April 7, the 2025 European Freestyle Wrestling Championships kick off in Bratislava. On the first day of the tournament, five wrestlers will represent Team Armenia.

57 kg — Manvel Khndzrtsyan
Quarterfinal: Khndzrtsyan vs. the winner of Nachyn Mongush (Russia) / Ivaylo Tlisov (Bulgaria).

65 kg — Vazgen Tevanyan
Round of 16: Tevanyan vs. Islam Guseynov (Belarus).

70 kg — Arman Andreasyan
Round of 16: Andreasyan vs. Mateusz Lucszynski (Poland).

79 kg — Hayk Papikyan
Round of 16: Papikyan vs. Vasyl Mykhailov (Ukraine).

97 kg — Gurgen Simonyan
Round of 16: Simonyan vs. Magomed Kurbanov (Russia).
