FFA President visited the under-construction Juventus Academy in Yerevan

President of the Football Federation of Armenia Armen Melikbekyan, together with Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan and founder of the Armenian Juventus Academy Alfred Sadoyan, reviewed the construction progress of the football center in Avan.

On an area of almost two hectares, four modern fields are being built: two mini-pitches (20×40 meters), one medium-sized pitch (40×60 meters), and a standard pitch 105 meters long. A unique feature of the project will be an indoor artificial turf field on the fourth floor of the sports center, where children of younger age groups can train during the winter. In addition, the second floor will house a hotel complex for visiting coaches and students from the regions.

The academy will be actively integrated into Juventus’ international programs. Every year, the best young Armenian footballers will have the opportunity to intern in Turin, participate in training camps, and take part in the prestigious World Cup among the club’s academies.

According to Alfred Sadoyan, enrollment at the academy will be available on both free and paid bases. Selection for the free groups will be carried out by a technical director from Italy. Around 20 European specialists and translators will also arrive in Armenia to help young players communicate with foreign coaches.

“Since my last visit, tremendous work has been done here. I am confident that in 2026 we will witness the opening of the academy not only in Avan but also near the Hrazdan Stadium,” noted Armen Melikbekyan.

The official opening of the Juventus Academy in Armenia is scheduled for 2026.
