After the first matches of Round 13: “Alashkert” and “Ararat-Armenia” lead the standings

The battle for leadership continues in the Armenian Premier League. Following the first matches of Round 13, two teams share the top of the table — Alashkert and Ararat-Armenia, both with 28 points.
Alashkert earned a confident 2:0 victory over BKMA, with goals scored by Dramme and Farayola, securing three important points.
Ararat-Armenia remains the only undefeated team this season, but this time Tulipa’s side drew 1:1 with Urartu. Both goals came from penalties: Joao Lima scored for Ararat-Armenia, while Bruno Michel converted for Urartu.
After 13 rounds, Alashkert and Ararat-Armenia each have 28 points, though Ararat-Armenia still has one match in hand. Urartu is in third place with 25 points and continues to chase the leaders.
The fight at the top promises to be especially intense in the upcoming rounds.
Ahead of matches against Hungary and Portugal, several Armenian national team players appeared today:
Kamo Hovhannisyan, Edgar Grigoryan, Artur Serobyan, Karen Muradyan, and Jirair Shagoyan started for Ararat-Armenia, while Araik Eloyan missed the match. Erik Piloyan and Narek Agasaryan played the full match for Urartu. For Alashkert, Arsen Beglaryan and Karen Nalbandyan also played the entire game.
