The head coach of the Armenian national team, Yeghishe Melikyan, has announced the squad for the final matches of the 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign against Hungary and Portugal. Compared to the previous fixtures, there have been changes in the squad: the coach has invited several new players and brought back some who were previously absent.

For the first time, 20-year-old CSKA Moscow midfielder Artyom Bandikyan has been called up to the national team. Also returning to the squad are Gor Manvelyan, Narek Grigoryan, and Araik Eloyan.

At the same time, the team has suffered losses. Due to various circumstances, forwards Lucas Zelarayán (Belgrano, Argentina), David Davidyan (Rotor, Russia) and Artur Miranyan (Bnei Sakhnin, Israel) will not be available. Team captain Tigran Barseghyan (Slovan, Slovakia) continues to serve his suspension and will miss three more matches.
