FC Noah has released a farewell video dedicated to Armenia national team goalkeeper Ognen Čančarević, who is leaving the club during the winter transfer window. The 36-year-old goalkeeper will continue his career at Serbian club IMT (Novi Beograd).
A warm message to the player was published on the Yerevan club’s social media pages:
“Thank you, Ognen, for your high professionalism, unbreakable will, and for being with us on the road to our dreams.
Together we experienced unforgettable moments and fantastic football episodes, and these memories will forever remain in our club’s history.
We wish you success in your future football career.”
Čančarević played for Noah for two years, joining the club from Alashkert in the winter of 2024.
One of the most memorable moments of his time in Yerevan was the historic goal against Greek side AEK in the 2024/25 UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers. The goalkeeper scored past Thomas Strakosha with a shot from his own half. That goal proved decisive in Noah’s progression to the next qualifying round and eventually to the group stage of the tournament.
