Armenia national team and Yerevan “Noah” goalkeeper Ognjen Cancarevic is leaving the Armenian championship and will continue his career in his homeland, Serbia.

The 36-year-old goalkeeper will sign a contract with IMT Novi Beograd, who currently sit 12th in the Serbian league after 20 rounds. The transfer will be completed on a free-agent basis, with all formalities already settled.

In the coming days, Cancarevic will travel to Antalya, where IMT are holding their winter training camp.

Cancarevic spent nine years in Armenia, playing for Alashkert and Noah. In 2023, the Serbian-born footballer obtained Armenian citizenship and made his debut for the Armenia national team, for which he has so far made 20 appearances.

Before moving to Armenia, Ognjen played in the Serbian SuperLiga for Radnik, OFK, Mladost, and Radnički 1923.
