The Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (RFU DC) is investigating the circumstances of the incident between Akhmat defender Ousmane Ndong and Krasnodar midfielder Eduard Spertsyan, which occurred during the 11th round of the MIR Russian Premier League. According to the head of the committee, Artur Grigoryants, the DC has already received technical video recordings of the episode from both clubs.
The match took place on October 4 and ended with Krasnodar’s 2–0 victory. In the final minutes, Ousmane Ndong received a direct red card for a shoulder hit against Eduard Spertsyan. After the game, the Senegalese defender claimed that the Krasnodar captain had made a racist remark toward him, provoking the conflict. Spertsyan, in response, emphasized that he did not insult his opponent and instead was himself subjected to inappropriate expressions.
“We have invited representatives of both clubs and the players themselves to the hearing, which will take place on October 16. We already have written explanations from both sides and technical video recordings of the incident provided by Krasnodar and Akhmat,” Artur Grigoryants told Match TV.
Following the hearing, the DC will decide whether disciplinary sanctions will be applied to one of the players or to both participants in the conflict.
