Nair Tiknizyan and Georgi Harutyunyan to meet during training camp in Austria

Armenia national team defenders Nair Tiknizyan and Georgi Harutyunyan will go head-to-head in a friendly match during preseason training camps in Austria. Their teams — Serbian champions Crvena Zvezda and Hungarian side Puskás Akadémia — will face each other on July 13.

Tiknizyan joined Crvena Zvezda this summer and has already made his debut, playing two friendly matches and scoring once. The club is preparing for the second qualifying round of the Champions League, where they will face the winner of Víkingur (Faroe Islands) vs Lincoln (Gibraltar) on July 22.

Harutyunyan joined Puskás Akadémia in the winter of 2025 and quickly became a regular starter. This season, he will make his debut in European competition, with the Hungarian side set to face Cyprus’s Aris on July 24 in the Conference League qualifiers.

Crvena Zvezda will hold its Austrian camp from July 3 to 16. Puskás Akadémia will begin training in Gainberg on July 5 after a domestic camp in Felcsút. Both teams will follow a twice-a-day training schedule.
