Nair Tiknizyan Scores in Debut Match for Red Star Belgrade (VIDEO)

Armenian national team defender Nair Tiknizyan had a successful debut for Serbian club Red Star Belgrade, scoring a goal in his very first match after joining. Just two days after signing his contract, Tiknizyan was in the starting lineup for a friendly match against Montenegrin side Sutjeska, held on June 24 during the training camp in Zlatibor.
In the 23rd minute, Tiknizyan opened the scoring with the first goal of the match. Playing as a left-back, he was very active in joining attacks. The first half ended with a narrow 1–0 lead for the Serbian team. In the second half, Red Star rotated their entire lineup and extended the lead to a resounding 5–0 victory.
Red Star’s next match is scheduled for June 29 against Russian club Zenit Saint Petersburg.
