Armenian MMA fighter Martun Mezhlumyan has withdrawn from his lightweight title bout against Amru Magomedov, which was scheduled to take place on October 22 at UAE Warriors 64 in Abu Dhabi.

The reason for his withdrawal was health-related issues. According to the fighter himself, he was forced to make a difficult decision after his condition worsened and is now undergoing medical examinations in one of Abu Dhabi’s hospitals.

“Dear friends and respected colleagues, I have sad news to share: due to my health condition, I had to make a difficult decision and withdraw from the fight. Since last night, I have been undergoing medical tests in a hospital in Abu Dhabi to determine the cause of the pain radiating to my back and abdomen. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the UAE Warriors organization for their quick assistance and support, and I apologize for this unforeseen situation. Health is not something to take lightly. I also want to apologize to my opponent, Amru Magomedov. I’ll share further updates about the fight later,” Mezhlumyan wrote.

The UAE Warriors organization has not yet announced whether the fight will take place with a replacement or be postponed to another date.
