Spertsyan’s Krasnodar Reach Russian Cup Super Final

Krasnodar became the winner of the RPL Path in the 2025/26 FONBET Russian Cup and advanced to the Super Final of the tournament.

In the second leg of the RPL Path final, Murad Musaev’s side drew 0-0 at home against Dynamo Moscow. The first match between the teams had also ended goalless, so the ticket to the Super Final was decided in a penalty shootout.

Krasnodar proved more accurate from the spot, winning the shootout 6-5. One of the heroes of the match was home goalkeeper Stanislav Agkatsev, who saved penalties from Konstantin Tyukavin and Juan Cáceres. Kevin Lenini converted the decisive penalty.

Armenia national team captain and Krasnodar midfielder Eduard Spertsyan started the match, played the full 90 minutes and confidently converted his penalty in the shootout.

In the Russian Cup Super Final, Krasnodar will face Moscow’s Spartak. The Red-and-Whites had earlier reached the decisive match through the Regions Path.
