Kovalev submits Ragozin and defends title: full RCC 25 results

RCC 25 took place on July 4, with the main event featuring a middleweight title fight between Vladislav Kovalev and Mikhail Ragozin.
In the headline bout of the evening, Vladislav “BelAZ” Kovalev finished Mikhail Ragozin in the first round and defended his RCC middleweight title. Kovalev secured a choke submission at 4:47 of the opening round.
For Kovalev, this was his ninth consecutive victory. His professional record now stands at 10-2. Mikhail Ragozin’s four-fight winning streak came to an end, and his record moved to 25-7.
In the co-main event, Ivan Shtyrkov defeated Gadzhi Avtomat by unanimous decision in a bout held under RCC Fair Fight rules. The judges scored the fight in favor of Shtyrkov: 29-28, 30-28, 30-28, 30-27, 30-27.
The event also crowned the first RCC champions in the lightweight and featherweight divisions. Dmitry Klimov submitted Valery Gritsutin in the first round to become the first RCC lightweight champion. Abdulmalik Mugidinov stopped Khabib Bulachov by technical knockout in the third round, won the grand prix and became the first RCC featherweight champion.
