Inter announce Champions League squad: Henrikh Mkhitaryan included

Inter have officially announced their squad for the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League league phase. The Nerazzurri submitted a List A consisting of 23 players, including Armenia international midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Under UEFA regulations, clubs may register up to 25 players on List A. However, Inter named only 23 because they have just seven players who meet the homegrown club or association criteria, while eight are required to fill all available spots.

The homegrown players on the list are Ivan Provedel, Raffaele Di Gennaro, Alessandro Bastoni, Federico Dimarco, Mattia Marello, Nicolo Barella and Piotr Zieliński.

The remaining squad includes goalkeeper Josep Martínez; defenders John Stones, Manuel Akanji, Benjamin Pavard, Carlos Augusto, Yann Aurel Bisseck and Djed Spence. Alongside Henrikh Mkhitaryan in midfield are Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Andy Diouf, Luis Henrique, Petar Sučić, Curtis Jones, Nicolo Barella and Piotr Zieliński.

Inter's attacking trio consists of Marcus Thuram, Lautaro Martínez and Ange-Yoan Bonny.

Youngsters Aleksandar Stanković and Francesco Pio Esposito have been included in List B, which is reserved for players who meet UEFA's age requirements and have spent the required period in the club's academy system.

Mkhitaryan will therefore be available to help Inter in the new Champions League campaign, as the Milan club aims to challenge for the top honours once again.
