Former Noah midfielder Imran Oulad Omar will continue his career in the Georgian league. The 28-year-old has signed a one-year contract with Dinamo Batumi.
The move marks a return to Georgian football for the Moroccan midfielder. He previously played for Dinamo Tbilisi and Lokomotivi Tbilisi before spending two successful seasons with Armenian club Noah.
Oulad Omar made 65 appearances for the Yerevan-based club in all competitions, scoring 17 goals and providing 11 assists. He was one of the team’s key players and helped Noah achieve success both domestically and on the international stage.
One of the Moroccan’s most memorable performances for Noah came in the UEFA Conference League play-off round against Slovenian side Olimpija Ljubljana. Oulad Omar scored a hat-trick and made a major contribution to the Armenian club’s qualification for the league phase of the European competition.
The midfielder will now represent Dinamo Batumi, returning to the Georgian league following his spell in Armenia.
