IBA World Boxing Championships 2025: Results of Day One

Today, December 4, the first day of the IBA World Boxing Championships 2025 took place in Dubai. The tournament opened with the 1/32 and 1/16 finals in eight weight categories, and the first Armenian athletes entered the ring during the evening session.

Team Armenia began the tournament with three representatives: Ararat Harutyunyan (71 kg) confidently defeated the Indonesian boxer with a score of 5:0, while the opponents of Vahtang Harutyunyan (75 kg) and Narek Manasyan (92 kg) did not appear in the ring, and both Armenians were declared winners by walkover.
