Javi Moreno leaves Pyunik after a strong season in Armenia

Spanish forward Javi Moreno has left Yerevan-based Pyunik. The departure of the 29-year-old winger became known during the team’s preparations for the new season.

Moreno joined Pyunik last summer and quickly became one of the team’s key players. In the past season, the Spaniard made 33 appearances, scoring 6 goals and providing 2 assists.

Pyunik are currently holding a training camp in Slovenia, where they are preparing for the start of their European campaign. The Yerevan club will compete in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.

The first match against Malta’s Marsaxlokk will take place on July 9.
