Georgian referees to officiate Armenia - Ireland match

The referee team for the second round match of Group F in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers between Armenia and Ireland has been announced. The match will take place on September 9 in Yerevan and will kick off at 20:00 local time.
It is noted that the VAR system will be used during the match.

The 34-year-old Goga Kikacheishvili has officiated in the current season’s Champions League qualifier Dinamo Minsk – Ludogorets (2:2), as well as two Conference League matches.
He has previously encountered Armenian football in 2024, when he refereed the Montenegro U21 – Armenia U21 (0:0) match.
