Grenik Petrosyan joins Belarusian side Torpedo-BelAZ

Armenian forward Grenik Petrosyan will continue his career in Belarus. Torpedo-BelAZ Zhodino have officially announced the signing of the 24-year-old footballer, who previously played for BKMA Yerevan.

Petrosyan spent last season with BKMA. He made 25 appearances, scored 5 goals and provided 3 assists. In total, the forward played 140 matches for the Yerevan-based club, scoring 38 goals and registering 18 assists.

Petrosyan is a product of Pyunik’s academy and has represented Armenia at all youth national team levels. In addition to BKMA, he has also played for Noah and Pyunik.

With Noah, the Armenian footballer became Armenian champion and Armenian Cup winner. He also played in the group stage of the UEFA Conference League.

Grenik Petrosyan was born on December 5, 2001, in Yerevan. He can play as a centre-forward, on both wings, or as an attacking midfielder.

Torpedo-BelAZ are currently 5th in the Belarusian Premier League. Last season, the club from Zhodino finished 6th and did not qualify for European competitions.
