On August 9-10, 2025, Dortmund, Germany hosted the prestigious international Greco-Roman wrestling tournament – the 2025 Germany Grand Prix – featuring athletes from 13 countries. For most participants, the event served as a key preparation stage for the 2025 Greco-Roman Wrestling World Championships, which will kick off in Croatia on September 13.
The Armenian national team did not compete in the tournament, but Armenian wrestlers took part under other national flags. Gagik Snjoyan (France) won a silver medal in the 67 kg weight category. Tigran Galustyan (77 kg, France) and Artur Sarkisjan (130 kg, Czech Republic) also competed but did not secure medals.
