Grayr Oganesyan wins Russian U-23 Greco-Roman wrestling title

Novosibirsk Region representative Grayr Oganesyan has become the Russian U-23 champion in Greco-Roman wrestling.
The tournament is taking place in Omsk from June 26 to 28. Oganesyan won the gold medal in the 67 kg weight category. In the final, he defeated Ruslan Ortanov of Moscow.
In addition to Grayr Oganesyan, several other wrestlers of Armenian origin also reached the podium at the Russian U-23 Championships.
In the 55 kg weight category, Arkady Arikyan of Krasnodar Krai won bronze. In the 60 kg category, Taron Vardanyan, representing Rostov Region, finished third.
In the 72 kg category, Arkady Balabekyan of Moscow Region became the silver medalist. Another silver medal was won by Narek Oganesyan of Novosibirsk Region in the 77 kg weight category.
Agasi Manukyan of Krasnoyarsk Krai also won bronze in the 82 kg weight category.
