Gevorg Harutyunyan provided the winning assist in Puskás Akadémia’s match against ZTE (VIDEO)

Armenia national team defender Georgiy Harutyunyan registered a decisive contribution in the 10th round of the Hungarian championship, where Puskás Akadémia defeated ZTE 1–0.

Harutyunyan entered the field in the 61st minute, and just nine minutes later — in the 70th — delivered a precise assist to Dániel Lukács, which proved to be the match-winning goal.

Interestingly, only a few days earlier, on October 11, the two players faced each other in an international match between Hungary and Armenia (2–0). Back then, Lukács scored following an error by Harutyunyan, while today Gevorg helped him score as his club teammate.

Thanks to this victory, Puskás Akadémia climbed to 7th place in the Hungarian league table, reaching 24 points.

For Georgiy Harutyunyan, this was his first assist of the current season and the second overall since joining Puskás Akadémia.
