Henrikh Mkhitaryan attended Artyom Simonyan’s wedding in Yerevan

Former Armenia national team captain and Inter Milan midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan attended the wedding of Artyom Simonyan and his bride Lilit, which took place in Yerevan.

The celebration brought together many well-known figures from Armenian football. Mkhitaryan was among the main guests of the evening and sat at the same table with the newlyweds — Artyom Simonyan and his bride Lilit.

A video featuring Mkhitaryan was shared by Pyunik defender Mikhail Kovalenko. In the footage, the players can be seen warmly talking in the restaurant. Henrikh asked Mikhail how he was enjoying Armenia and wished the defender good luck.

Artyom Simonyan is a graduate of Zenit Saint Petersburg’s academy and a former Armenia national team player. Over the years, the midfielder has played for several clubs in Russia and Armenia. He currently continues his career in the Russian First League with Rotor Volgograd.

Simonyan’s wedding in Yerevan gathered several prominent guests from the football community and became one of the notable events for Armenian sports circles.
