Former Armenia national team forward Gegham Kadimyan has joined Italian club FC Sciacca, which plays in Eccellenza Sicilia — a regional league at the fifth level of the Italian football system (Group A). The news was reported by well-known insider Gianluca Di Marzio via the SerieD24 website.
It should be reminded that the 32-year-old striker returned to professional football at the beginning of 2025 after a two-year break and finished the season with Czech club Znojmo, which plays in the country’s third division. During the second part of the 2024/25 season, Kadimyan played several matches for Znojmo, regaining match fitness.
In the Armenia national team, the forward has 13 appearances and 2 goals to his name.
It is worth noting that another Armenian footballer — former BKMA and Armenia U21 player Serozh Titizyan — is already playing in a similar league in Italy.
