Noah FC made a confident start to the Armenian Premier League after the winter break, crushing West Armenia 4-0. This victory allowed the team to strengthen its lead in the standings.
From the very first minutes, Noah showed an aggressive approach. In the 11th minute, Eraldo Cinari opened the scoring after a cross from Thórarinnsson. Soon after, Artak Dashyan doubled the lead with a brilliant curling shot. In the second half, Gonzalo Gregorio confidently converted a penalty, and Eraldo Cinari completed his brace with a stunning volley.
West Armenia’s situation worsened after Romen Blake was sent off in the 58th minute, leaving the team with ten men.
This match also marked the Armenian league debuts of Nermin Zolotić and Bruno Almeida, who appeared for Noah for the first time. Additionally, Sergey Muradyan was deployed as a defensive midfielder, which was an interesting tactical move by the coaching staff.
As for West Armenia, three players made their debuts for the club: the aforementioned Romen Blake, along with Jonel Desire and Magomed Estamirov.
After 20 rounds, Noah remains at the top of the table, leading closest rival Urartu by five points while having a game in hand. West Armenia sits in eighth place.
Notably, this was the first match of the 2025 championship, as the other fixtures were postponed due to heavy snowfall in Armenia.
