Armenian super feather boxer Erik Israyelyan (4–0; 2 KO) continues his confident rise in professional boxing. In Montreal, the 21-year-old athlete defeated Chilean Mario Esparza (2–2) by unanimous decision — 40–36, 40–36, 40–36. This is Israelyan’s second victory in the last two weeks.
Two weeks earlier, also in Montreal, Erik defeated Dylan Schroeder in a bout that ended with a split decision.
Israyelyan turned professional in April 2025 after a successful run with Armenia’s youth national team. In just a few months, he has fought four times and earned convincing victories in all of them, rapidly gaining momentum in the professional ring.
