21-year-old Armenian boxer Erik Israyelyan (3-0; 2 KO) continues his winning streak in the professional ring. On the night of October 30–31 in Montreal, he defeated 25-year-old Canadian Dylan Schroeder (6-1; 4 KO) by majority decision — 40-36, 39-37, and 37-39.
The fight against the previously undefeated Canadian was intense and competitive, but Israelyan managed to impose his style and secure victory after four rounds.
This marks Erik’s third straight win as a professional, with all three bouts taking place in Montreal in 2025.
Previously, Israyelyan represented Armenia successfully at the amateur level, and now he continues to confidently build his career among professionals.
Erik’s next fight is scheduled for November 13, where he will face Chilean Mario Esparza. The tournament will once again be held in Montreal, and as of now, the fight remains confirmed.
