Ex-UFC fighter Armen Petrosyan lost to Ivan Shtyrkov at RCC

On August 17, Yekaterinburg hosted RCC Fair Fight 33, where ex-UFC fighter Armen Petrosyan faced Russian athlete Ivan Shtyrkov under kickboxing rules.

The fight went the full three rounds and ended with Shtyrkov’s unanimous decision victory — 29:27 on all three scorecards.

The bout developed dramatically: the first round was evenly contested, Petrosyan looked stronger in the second, but the decisive moment came in the third round. Shtyrkov managed to knock down the Armenian fighter, which sealed the judges’ decision in his favor.
