Edgar Sevikyan comes off the bench in Ferencváros’ Europa League victory

Hungarian side Ferencváros confidently advanced to the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, while Belarusian club BATE Borisov continued their UEFA Conference League campaign.

Ferencváros defeated Serbian side Vojvodina 5–1 on aggregate. The Hungarian club won the first leg 2–1 before scoring three unanswered goals in the return fixture to secure a 3–0 victory.

Armenia midfielder Edgar Sevikyan did not feature in the first leg but came on as a substitute in the 74th minute of the return match.

Former Noah striker Nardin Mulahusejnović remained on Vojvodina’s bench in the second leg. The forward played the first half of the opening match.

Ferencváros will face Dutch club Twente in the second qualifying round of the Europa League.

BATE also successfully passed the first qualifying round of European competition. The Belarusian club eliminated Albanian side Elbasani after winning the penalty shootout.

Armenian defender Hayk Musakhanyan missed the return fixture but played the full 90 minutes for BATE in the first leg.

The Belarusian team will face Swiss club Sion in the next round of Conference League qualifying.
