Crvena Zvezda avoided defeat at the end of the match against Celta, Tiknizyan suffered an injury

Belgrade’s Crvena Zvezda drew with Spain’s Celta in the final round of the Europa League league phase — 1:1.

The ending of the match turned dramatic. In the 87th minute, Fer Lores put the visitors ahead, and it seemed Celta would take the win, but just two minutes later the hosts restored parity — Bruno Duarte scored, rescuing the Serbian club from defeat.

After the league phase, the Serbian champions finished 15th in the standings. In the Round of 32, Crvena Zvezda will face either Greece’s PAOK or France’s Lille.

Armenian national team defender Nair Tiknizyan started for the Belgrade side. However, his match ended early — he was substituted in the 50th minute due to injury.
