In the 82 kg category, national team mainstay Samvel Gevorgyan competed. He confidently won all his bouts, defeating Martik Petrosyan, Aram Arakelyan, Grigor Melkonyan, and Vahe Hovhannisyan.
The 87 kg category proved especially competitive, featuring three Armenian national team wrestlers — Gevorg Tadevosyan, Karen Khachatryan, and Vigen Nazaryan — as well as youth team member Yurik Petrosyan and young wrestler Henrik Gevorgyan. The most experienced competitor, Gevorg Tadevosyan, emerged victorious.
Three athletes competed in the 130 kg category. Albert Vardanyan claimed the title, defeating recent national team call-up Razmik Kurdyan and Aramais Harutyunyan.
