Bayern Munich kicked off their FIFA Club World Cup 2025 campaign in style, thrashing New Zealand's Auckland City 10–0 in the first round of the group stage.
Michael Olise, Thomas Müller, and Kingsley Coman each scored a brace, while Sacha Boey added another goal. However, the true star of the second half was substitute Jamal Musiala, who netted a hat-trick and sealed the rout.
Jonathan Tah made his official debut for Bayern after his recent move from Bayer Leverkusen. The defender provided an assist and showed composure in defense.
In Group C, the German powerhouse will also face Argentina’s Boca Juniors and Portugal’s Benfica.
Earlier, the tournament began with Inter Miami vs Al Ahly, which ended in a goalless draw.
