Artur Serobyan named Ararat-Armenia’s best player against Sparta

Armenia national team winger Artur Serobyan was one of the standout players in the Europa League Matchday 1 game between Ararat-Armenia and Sparta Prague. Despite the Yerevan club’s 4-1 defeat, the 23-year-old received the highest rating among his teammates.

Serobyan has already been sold to Lechia

Artur Serobyan’s performances in the Europa League will be particularly interesting given his already confirmed move to Polish club Lechia Gdańsk.

Ararat-Armenia previously agreed to sell the player to the Polish club for around €1 million. However, Serobyan will remain with the Armenian champions until the end of January 2027 and will join Lechia during the winter.

This means the winger will continue to receive playing time in the Armenian league and the Europa League over the coming months. Strong performances at this level could further increase his transfer value even before he plays his first official match for the Polish club.
