Artur Gharibyan scores with his first shot on Armenia debut

Artur Gharibyan scored in his first appearance for the Armenia national team. The forward came on as a substitute against Latvia in the Nations League and found the net with his very first shot at the Republican Stadium in Yerevan.
The assist came from Zhirayr Shaghoyan, who also started the match on the bench. Both players involved in the goal had been brought on by head coach Yeghishe Melikyan during the game.
Before the match, Gharibyan had said he wanted to score against Latvia. He fulfilled that promise on his national team debut. The match is still in progress.
Armenia lead 2–0. Georgiy Harutyunyan scored in the first half, also netting his first goal for the national team.
