19-year-old Spartak (Kostroma) forward Artur Gharibyan has netted his first-ever goal in the Russian Football National League. He scored in the 9th round match against Sokol Saratov, delivering the winning strike as Spartak secured a 2:1 victory.
This was Gharibyan’s sixth appearance of the season, and his goal earned his team three crucial points. It also marked the first professional goal of his Russian First League career.
Gharibyan, a Rodina academy graduate, has represented Armenia’s youth national teams since the age of 15, playing for U16, U17, and U19 squads. However, he has not yet been called up for the U21 team in the current qualifying campaign.
This summer, the young striker moved from Rodina’s youth squad to Spartak (Kostroma) and is gradually establishing himself in the first team.
