Rotor midfielder Artem Simonyan scored a beautiful goal in the FNL Matchday 6 game against Ural.
The former Armenia international started for the Volgograd side and opened the scoring as early as the 9th minute. Simonyan sent a powerful volley into the opponent’s net.
It was the 30-year-old midfielder’s second goal of the current season. He has also registered four assists.
Simonyan spent 69 minutes on the pitch before being substituted. Rotor were unable to hold on to their lead, with the match ending in a 1-1 draw.
Another Armenian footballer, Khoren Bayramyan, also started the match for Ural. He was substituted in the 34th minute.
